A deposit of 40% is required at the time of booking and the balance at least 14 days before the commencement of the safari/mountain climb.
Insurance & Responsibility
Clients are responsible for their own personal travel insurance. Clients are advised to check whether their Insurance is appropriate for Africa. ACTIVE TANZANIA ADVENTURES (T) Ltd. is not responsible for theft or loss of baggage. We therefore recommend baggage insurance
Toyota Land cruiser, Four Wheel Minibus, and Coaches will be provided according to the route and number of clients. The company reserves the right to employ the service of subcontractors. English/French and Spanish driver guides are provided.
Alteration to tours
The company reserves the right to alter arrangements or cancel the operation of a scheduled tour should conditions necessitate. It also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at anytime, in which case an equitable amount will be refunded.
The price of the safari covers all costs noted in the itinerary, and will generally include all expenses in respect of vehicle and driver, meals on safari, camping fees, and entrance fees to National Parks, Game reserves, and Conservation Area.
The Company and its agents shall not be liable for injury, delays, loss, or damage in any manner. The company's liability to passengers carried in its own vehicle is governed by the laws of the country in which the tour takes place and no other country. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the actions arise. The company reserves the right to employ subcontractors for all or part of the service. The company shall not be held responsible for loss or damages to baggage.
Based on two persons sharing a twin room/tent. Where possible rooms with a private bath are requested. Single rooms are available at an additional cost but can not be guaranteed. Hotel/Lodge/campsite are named as an indication of category only, and rooms may be reserved at similar hotel/lodge.
If a cancellation is made in a period of over 30 days of the safari/tour, the payment will be refunded minus the transfer fee. If the cancellation is made in the period between 14 - 30 days of the safari/tour, 50% of the payment will be refunded. If the cancellation is made in the period between 7 - 14 days of the safari/tour, 25% of the payment would be refunded. When the cancellation is made in a period of less than 7 days to the safari/tour then the payment is NON-REFUNDABLE.
